Choose Available Amenities on Your Athens Bus
Not every Athens group trip calls for the same ride. A 15- to 50-passenger party bus typically comes loaded with color-changing LED lighting, a premium Bluetooth sound system, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating — great for birthday crawls through downtown Athens or pregame rides out to Sanford Stadium. A minibus is a cleaner fit for corporate shuttles between hotel blocks and the Classic Center, with reclining seats and powerful climate control for those hot Georgia summers.
A full-size charter bus brings undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms for longer hauls — think Athens to Atlanta for a Falcons game or a multi-day conference circuit.
Amenities vary by vehicle and provider, but the comparison tool makes it easy to filter by what matters most to your group. Call 864-392-8090 to talk through your options!

How Much Does a Party Bus Cost in Athens?
Athens party bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, the date, how many hours you need, and seasonal demand — and UGA football weekends in particular push rates up fast. As a general planning guide, a 15-passenger party bus runs roughly $200–$350 per hour on weekdays and $250–$350 on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus lands in the $250–$375 range per hour on weekends.
A 40–56 passenger charter bus generally runs $200–$350 per hour, weekday or weekend — often the most cost-effective option when your headcount climbs above 30. A minibus starts around $200 per hour on weekdays.
These are planning ranges, not quotes — the exact price moves with your specific date, route, and vehicle. The fastest way to find out what your trip actually costs? Fill out the form or call 864-392-8090.

The Right Bus for Your Athens Group Is Here
Athens is a college town — which means the transportation market here is busy, competitive, and complicated. Home Saturdays at Sanford Stadium pack every road within five miles. Fall for Athens fills downtown.
AthFest shuts down blocks of Clayton Street. On those dates, rideshare prices spike, parking disappears, and the coordination headache of moving a group of 20 or 30 people across town compounds fast.
Partybusgreenville.com exists to cut through all of that. Because the site pulls from a network of independently owned transportation companies — not a single fleet — you're never told "we don't have anything available that weekend." More options means more availability, more vehicle sizes, and more price competition working in your favor.
You fill out one form or make one call, compare what's out there, and find the bus that fits your group. That's the whole model.
Online quotes take under 30 seconds. The form requires no account. Help is available at 864-392-8090 every day of the year, any time you need it.
For a city where event calendars and football schedules fill up fast, that kind of access matters.
Group Transportation Services in Athens
Whatever brings your group to Athens — a Bulldogs game, a wedding at a farm venue in Watkinsville, a corporate conference at the Classic Center, or a birthday night down on Broad Street — there's a bus in the network built for it. Browse Athens group transportation services or read on to find your occasion below.

Athens Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Athens Ben Epps Airport (AHN) handles general aviation but no commercial service, which means most Athens travelers are working with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) — about 70 miles southwest on US-78 and I-285, typically an hour and fifteen to ninety minutes depending on I-285 and I-20 interchange congestion. For groups of 10 or more flying out together, coordinating individual cars or splitting into multiple rideshares turns a manageable trip into a logistics puzzle before you even reach the terminal.
An Athens airport shuttle bus rental loads the whole group at one pickup point — a hotel block, a neighborhood, a company campus — and runs straight to the terminal. No staggered arrivals, no one circling for parking, no surge pricing at 4am. ATL's domestic terminal complex and international Terminal F both have designated ground transportation lanes for commercial buses; coordinate your terminal and door with the form confirmation so the approach is clean.
Call 864-392-8090 to set up your Atlanta airport transfer from Athens today.

Athens Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Downtown Athens is built for a night out — dozens of bars, live music at nearly every corner, and a walkable strip that runs from the Georgia Theatre on Lumpkin Street down through the College Avenue scene. The challenge isn't finding somewhere to go; it's keeping a group of 15 or 20 people moving together once the night picks up. Rideshares in Athens on a Friday night during the school year can mean 20-minute waits or surge pricing that catches the group off guard at midnight.
A Athens bachelorette party bus rental keeps the group together from the first stop to the last. Popular crawl stops include Creature Comforts Brewing (271 W Hancock Ave), Akademia Brewing Company (150 E Washington St), Normal Bar (1365 Prince Ave), and late nights at Allgood Lounge or the rooftop at Loft 107. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus with LED lighting and a Bluetooth sound system keeps the energy up between stops.
Call 864-392-8090 to lock in your date — Athens weekends fill fast, especially in fall.

Athens Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the best ways to open a milestone birthday — pulling up to a venue in Athens or the surrounding Clarke County area in a lit-up bus with the whole group on board makes an impression before the doors even open. Athens birthday party bus rentals in the 15–25 passenger range are the most common fit for Sweet 16s and quinceañeras heading to banquet halls and event spaces in the Athens–Watkinsville corridor.
For adult milestone birthdays planning a downtown bar crawl or a night at Georgia Theatre, a party bus with LED lighting and premium sound handles the ride between venues while everyone stays together. Rates for a 20-passenger party bus on a weekend evening run roughly $275–$350 per hour — split across 20 people, that's a very manageable per-person cost for a night no one forgets. Use the online form to compare vehicle options or call 864-392-8090 any time for a custom quote built around your headcount and itinerary.

Athens Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Athens has one of the most active live music scenes of any city its size in the country — the city that gave the world R.E.M. and the B-52s still books acts constantly across a tight cluster of venues downtown. Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville and the Peace Center draw Athens groups willing to make the two-hour drive for bigger touring acts. Locally, the 40 Watt Club (285 W Washington St, Athens, GA 30601) and Georgia Theatre (215 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601) book national and regional acts nearly every weekend.
Parking near either venue is metered, limited, and gone early on sold-out nights.
An Athens concert bus rental drops your group on Washington Street or Lumpkin Street and handles the pickup when the show ends — no one draws straws for the designated role, and no one is watching the clock when the encore hits. For CCNB Amphitheatre shows, check out the CCNB Amphitheatre bus guide for parking and drop-off specifics. Call 864-392-8090 to compare concert bus options!

Athens Corporate Event Transportation
The Classic Center (300 N Thomas St, Athens, GA 30601) is Athens's primary conference and convention facility, hosting trade shows, association meetings, and corporate events year-round. The venue sits in the Normaltown area just north of downtown, and parking on Thomas Street and adjacent streets fills fast on event days — especially when a UGA academic calendar event overlaps with a conference booking.
A corporate charter bus or minibus rental in Athens solves the Classic Center's parking problem cleanly: employees or attendees board at a single hotel block pickup point and arrive at the Thomas Street entrance together, on time, without hunting for spaces. For multi-day conferences, a shuttle circuit between the Classic Center and downtown Athens hotels like the Graduate Athens (295 E Dougherty St) keeps everything running on schedule. Minibuses in the 15–35 passenger range are the right fit for most corporate shuttle circuits here — maneuverable enough for downtown streets, comfortable enough for a 20-minute transfer.
Call 864-392-8090 to discuss contract rates and multi-day packages.

Athens Private Event Transportation Services
Athens anchors one of Georgia's most active event calendars for a mid-sized city. AthFest Music & Arts Festival takes over downtown every June, closing multiple blocks of Clayton Street and sending pedestrian traffic surging through the College Avenue corridor — on peak festival days, parking within a half mile of the main stages is essentially nonexistent, and rideshare wait times in the area spike hard. A private charter bus rental in Athens drops your group at the festival perimeter and handles the pickup on the back end, so no one is navigating the post-show street chaos on foot.
Fall for Athens — the annual fall festival in October — draws large crowds downtown and creates similar parking and circulation pressure. Family reunions hitting multiple stops across Clarke, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties are a great use case for a charter bus or minibus, keeping everyone together across a day that might include lunch at The National, an afternoon at Sandy Creek Park, and an evening back downtown. Call 864-392-8090 to talk through your itinerary and find the right vehicle size.

Athens Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Clarke County School District high schools — including Clarke Central High School and Cedar Shoals High School — typically hold prom in April and May, and that window is the single busiest stretch of the year for party bus rentals across the Athens metro. Every school in a 40-mile radius is scheduling around the same narrow calendar, and the buses go fast.
For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing and limited availability by March. Waiting is a real risk here — this is not a city where you can call three weeks out and find a 25-passenger party bus in white with LED lighting on a Saturday in April. Athens prom party bus rentals booked early protect both the price and the vehicle choice.
A 20- or 25-passenger party bus is the standard fit for a prom group, with flat-panel TVs, color-changing lights, and perimeter seating. Call 864-392-8090 as early as possible — the earlier the call, the better the options.

Athens School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Clarke County School District field trips and school event transportation is a natural fit for the charter bus and minibus network available through Partybusgreenville.com. Athens is well-positioned for day trips to destinations like the Georgia Museum of Natural History on the UGA campus (1390 E University Ave, Athens, GA 30602), Sandy Creek Nature Center (205 Old Commerce Rd), and longer drives to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta or Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
A charter bus rental for Athens school groups handles the logistics that yellow school buses don't: overhead storage for backpacks and gear, onboard restrooms on select vehicles so pit stops don't eat into field trip time, and climate control that actually works in Georgia heat. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network — mention it when requesting your quote. Teachers and administrators appreciate that one call to 864-392-8090 gets the whole thing organized, from vehicle size to pickup logistics, without juggling multiple vendors.

Athens Sporting Event Transportation
Sanford Stadium (100 Sanford Dr, Athens, GA 30602) seats over 93,000 and is one of the loudest venues in college football — and on a home Saturday, the roads surrounding it reflect that. Milledge Avenue, Lumpkin Street, and the US-78 approach from Atlanta all clog hours before kickoff. The University of Georgia manages game-day parking through a permit system, and most general lots are a significant walk from the stadium gates.
Post-game rideshare queues near the stadium can stretch 45 minutes or longer on sold-out nights.
A Bulldogs game day charter bus rental bypasses the lot hunt entirely — the bus stages near campus while your group is inside, and the postgame pickup is already handled. For Clemson games and away matchups, check out the Clemson Memorial Stadium bus rental guide for specifics on approach routes and parking. UGA home openers and rivalry games against Georgia Tech and Florida sell out months in advance — book your bus at the same time you sort your tickets.
Call 864-392-8090 to check availability on your game date.

Athens Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Athens and the surrounding Oconee and Madison County areas have become one of Georgia's most popular wedding corridors, with farm venues and estates in Watkinsville, Statham, and Danielsville drawing couples who want the rural-Georgia setting with easy driving distance to Atlanta guests. The problem those venues create: no onsite parking for 150 guests, limited road access on narrow county roads, and an expectation that guests will figure out the 20-minute drive from their Athens hotel on their own.
A Athens wedding shuttle bus solves that cleanly. A 35–40 passenger minibus or charter bus runs a loop between downtown Athens hotel blocks — the Graduate Athens, the Hilton Garden Inn, the Home2 Suites — and the venue, keeping guests on your timeline instead of trickling in over 45 minutes. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is a natural fit for the bridal party on the wedding day itself.
Because wedding weekends in this corridor book far in advance, locking in transportation 6–9 months out is strongly advisable. Call 864-392-8090 to check your date!

Athens Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Northeast Georgia wine country sits just outside Athens's doorstep, and it's a legitimate destination — not a consolation prize for a group that can't get to Napa. Habersham Winery in Helen and Yonah Mountain Vineyards in nearby Cleveland (about 75 miles north) anchor the mountain wine circuit, while closer to Athens, Oconee County's rural routes connect several tasting rooms and farm venues within 30 minutes of downtown. For a shorter urban crawl, Creature Comforts Brewing (271 W Hancock Ave), Southern Brewing Company (231 Collins Industrial Blvd), and Akademia Brewing (150 E Washington St) make a solid Athens brewery triangle.
A winery tour bus rental from Athens keeps every stop on the itinerary without asking anyone to navigate rural GA-15 at dusk after a flight of tastings. The group stays together, the route is handled, and the parking situation at each stop is irrelevant. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus is the right size for most Athens wine group tours.

Instead, it connects you to a network of independently owned transportation companies so you can compare vehicle types, availability, and pricing in one place — without calling each transportation company individually.

How much does a party bus cost in Athens?
Athens party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, the date, the number of hours, and demand. As a rough planning guide: a 15-passenger party bus runs around $200–$350 per hour on weekdays, and $250–$350 on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus lands around $250–$375 per hour on weekends.
A 40–56 passenger charter bus generally runs $200–$350 per hour. UGA home game weekends and spring prom season push rates toward the top of those ranges — and availability tightens. The best way to get your exact number is to fill out the form or call 864-392-8090.
Pricing for your specific trip is available in about a minute.
Do I need to book further in advance for UGA home games?
Yes — significantly further. Sanford Stadium home games, especially rivalry games and night games against ranked opponents, generate some of the highest transportation demand in the Athens market. Buses for those dates are often spoken for weeks or months in advance.
As soon as you have your game tickets, check bus availability. Waiting until two weeks before a sold-out home game is a real risk. Call 864-392-8090 the moment your date is confirmed.
Can a charter bus get close to Sanford Stadium on game day?
Yes, but game-day road management around UGA's campus is significant. Milledge Avenue, Lumpkin Street, and several blocks of East Campus Road see closures and restricted traffic windows on home Saturdays. The specific access routes and staging areas depend on the event — review the UGA Parking Services official site before your game date for current game-day traffic and parking guidance.
Confirm your approach plan in advance so the bus isn't caught in a restricted zone at kickoff.
What's the best vehicle for a wedding shuttle in Athens?
For most Athens-area wedding shuttles — running a loop between a downtown hotel block and a farm or estate venue in Oconee or Madison County — a 15–35 passenger minibus or a 40-passenger charter bus is the right size depending on your guest count. A minibus handles 15–35 guests per run comfortably and has the maneuverability for narrow county roads leading to rural venues. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is the classic bridal party vehicle on the wedding day itself.
The network has both; call 864-392-8090 and describe your venue and headcount to get the right match.
Can I get a bus from Athens to Atlanta for a Falcons or Braves game?
Absolutely. Athens to Mercedes-Benz Stadium or Truist Park is roughly 70–75 miles — about 90 minutes under normal conditions, longer if you're hitting the I-285/I-20 interchange during peak times. A charter bus is the obvious call for a larger fan group making that run: undercarriage storage handles tailgate gear and bags, onboard restrooms eliminate unnecessary stops on the highway, and the group arrives and leaves together.
A 40–56 passenger charter bus runs $200–$350 per hour, making the per-person cost very manageable when seats are full. Call 864-392-8090 to build a round-trip quote for your Atlanta game trip.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Athens events outside of peak periods, 4–6 weeks of lead time is workable. For UGA home football games — especially rivalry weekends, homecoming, and night games against ranked opponents — book the moment you secure your tickets, ideally 2–3 months out. For prom and homecoming season (April–May), book by January.
For AthFest in June, book at least 6–8 weeks ahead. The earlier you call, the better your vehicle selection and the more competitive the pricing. Call 864-392-8090 now to lock in your date!
Popular Athens Party Bus Destinations
Athens has a dense cluster of venues worth planning a group trip around — from the stadium that seats over 93,000 to the downtown bar blocks that stay open past 2am. Here are six destinations where having a bus makes a genuine difference.

Sanford Stadium
Sanford Stadium (100 Sanford Dr, Athens, GA 30602) is the anchor of the entire Athens sports calendar and one of the largest on-campus stadiums in the country, with a capacity over 93,000. On a home Saturday, every major road feeding the stadium — Milledge, Lumpkin, Carlton Street — hits gridlock 3–4 hours before kickoff. UGA Parking Services manages a permit system for most lots, and general public parking adjacent to campus is either miles out or priced accordingly on game day.
Rideshare pickup zones post-game are on the outer edges of campus, adding a 20–30 minute walk after a 3-hour game. Check UGA Parking Services for current game-day access rules before your visit. Phone: (706) 542-7275

Georgia Theatre
Georgia Theatre (215 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601) is a multi-level concert venue in the heart of downtown Athens with a rooftop bar and a capacity of roughly 1,000 for standing shows. It books national touring acts and regional headliners on a near-nightly basis and is one of the most recognizable music venues in the Southeast. Street parking on Lumpkin and adjacent blocks is metered and fills fast on show nights, and the nearest garage on College Avenue is a two-block walk at minimum.
For a group of 15–20 catching a show here, a party bus drops the group on Lumpkin Street and picks up exactly where you left off when the set ends. Address: 215 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601

Classic Center
The Classic Center (300 N Thomas St, Athens, GA 30601) is Athens's primary conference, convention, and performing arts venue — anchored by a 2,122-seat performing arts theater and a full convention hall. It books corporate conferences, trade shows, ticketed concerts, and graduation events. Parking on Thomas Street and the surrounding Normaltown blocks fills quickly on event days, and the paid lot on Foundry Street is the closest option, though capacity is limited.
A minibus shuttle circuit between the Classic Center and downtown Athens hotels — a 5–10 minute ride — is the clean solution for corporate groups who don't want staff navigating parking on a conference morning. Phone: (706) 208-0900

Creature Comforts Brewing Company
Creature Comforts Brewing Company (271 W Hancock Ave, Athens, GA 30601) is one of Athens's flagship craft breweries, known nationally for Tropicália IPA and a taproom that pulls in both locals and visitors on any given weekend afternoon. The Hancock Avenue location has limited street parking, and the surrounding Normaltown neighborhood is residential — towing-enforced on weekday evenings. For a brewery crawl that also hits Southern Brewing Company (231 Collins Industrial Blvd) and Akademia Brewing (150 E Washington St), a party bus or minibus lets the group move between all three without a parking situation at each stop.
A 20-passenger party bus is the right size for most Athens brewery tour groups. Phone: (706) 410-1043

40 Watt Club
The 40 Watt Club (285 W Washington St, Athens, GA 30601) is one of the most historically significant music venues in American rock — R.E.M. played here before anyone outside Athens knew who they were, and it still books national and regional acts in an intimate room. Washington Street has metered parking, and the blocks surrounding the 40 Watt on show nights fill early. The venue is a 3–4 block walk from most downtown Athens parking structures, which matters after a late show ends and the street is crowded.
A group of 15–20 arriving by party bus lands right on Washington Street at the door and gets picked up in the same spot after the show. Phone: (706) 549-7871

Sandy Creek Park
Sandy Creek Park (400 Bob Holman Rd, Athens, GA 30601) is Clarke County's largest public recreation area on Lake Chapman with beach access, boat ramps, tennis courts, picnic shelters, and trails. It's a popular stop for family reunions, company picnics, church retreats, and school field trips, with shelter reservations handled through Athens-Clarke County Parks and Recreation. On summer weekends, the park entrance on Bob Holman Road sees significant vehicle stacking, and large group arrivals in separate cars complicate both entry and parking.
A charter bus or minibus delivers the whole group in one vehicle, simplifying check-in and freeing up the picnic shelter for the party rather than the parking lot. Check Athens-Clarke County Parks for current reservation and access information. Phone: (706) 613-3631
